With 54 stations and at a length of 54.7 kilometres, the Prague metro is the most important means of transport for the Czech capital. More than ten billion passengers have been transported since 1973. A million people use the metro each day. Honeywell Life Safety GmbH renovated the aging fire alarm system. The professional and successful completion of the project led to successive orders in subsequent years, right through to the present day. |

The transformation of the former military hospital in Budapest into a modern state health centre for the general public provided the ideal opportunity for the security and communications technology developed by Esser by Honeywell and Ackermann clino by Honeywell to be put into action. The house, which has 433 beds in approx. 300 rooms, is known as the most important health institution in the country. The system was expanded once again in the summer of 2007. This was Hungary’s most elaborate fire alarm and light call project to date. |

The three-story sandstone building dating back to the 14th century is one of the most famous and oldest town halls in Germany. The building complex, which has a total of three levels, covers a total area of about 10,000 m² and consists of nine successive houses that include six inner courtyards. Gastronomic establishments also set up shop there in 2006: Ratskeller, Kapellchen and Römerkeller. The fire alarm technology installed by Esser by Honeywell ensures that this gem will be preserved for some time to come. |

The castle hotel Münchhausen near Hameln offers five stars of luxury and safety. The costly restoration of the Renaissance castle dating back to the 16th century meant that not only was it possible to preserve the heritage building, but it was also possible to install the most modern fire protection manufactured by the brand Esser by Honeywell apart from creating a high-calibre hotel business. Both monument conservation and various ceiling heights played an important part during the planning and installation of fire protection technology. |
