Positive VdS certification and a first place at GIT security award for VARIODYN ® D1

Honeywell Life Safety Austria is the first company to receive positive certification according to EN 54-16 as well as the VdS-accreditation for VARIODYN® D1, the optimal product for voice alarm and public address systems. Additionally we are proud to have received the award for first place at the GIT Security Award 2011 in the category Fire Protection.

This system is the first product for electro-acoustic emergency systems on the Austrian and European market which displays this very important quality feature. It meets the mandatory requirement according to TRVB 158 S which is in power as of March 2011 in Austria.
This requirement states that an electric-acoustic emergency system, which is used for alarm and evacuation announcements, must be EN 54-16 compliant.

In December we received notice that we had won first place at the 2011 GIT security award in the category fire protection.

This award further strengthens the reputation of our already extremely successful product and it is a great honour for the company to receive it shortly after the VdS - accreditation.
We competed against strong competition and are very happy about our great sucess.

The voice alarm system from Esser by Honeywell, with its modular structure, enables the implementation of both small and large solutions to public address, alarm and evacuation.

The high-efficiency class D amplifiers are developed in-house and offer the full power range at lowest battery voltage.

With the VdS-certified VARIODYN® D1 from ESSER by Honeywell, Honeywell Life Safety Austria has reacted prematurely to the impending standardization of the classic fields of application of voice alarm systems. A complete product portfolio is available from digital call stations to highly efficient, performance amplifiers as well as modular, scalable system-units. All of which can installed in both small and large scale applications.
